This fully lined wingtip and brogue Derby boot is made using calf, kangaroo, yearling or bovine leather. It is also made on our dress shoe lasts, the Cambridge and Stanley, to give it a more refined look.

Upper: Choose between bovine, kangaroo, yearling and calf
Prices will vary depending on leather chosen and sole. Kangaroo leather has more texture and markings, the skin is strong, but it’s also very fine in thickness. The veg-tan roo also is a dry leather and thus high maintenance in that it needs regular conditioning to avoid it drying out. Yearling has similar body to bovine leather, but has a smoother grain and a more polished finish. It is also more readily dyed. Yearling and bovine are our preferred choices for regular wear. Baby calf leather is like the cashmere of leather and the choice for high gloss potential, formal occasions and quite infrequent wear. Bovine is a great choice for regular wear.
Eyelets & Hooks: Choose small or large eyelets and whether you want speed Hooks or not. Please note our Paracord Boot Laces will only fit through the large eyelets. Our preference is to do the Gordon boot in the Gordon toe with the large antique brass eyelets as they offset the leather and our brass aglet tipped shoelaces nicely.
Topline This is the detail at the top of the quarters of the boot, around the ankle, above the eyelets/hooks and that meets down at the vamp. A bound topline looks like a French bind leather detail. It's a thin strip of leather folded and stitched all the way around.
Sole: 5mm Italian oak tanned, hand waxed, Blake stitched or blake rapid leather sole. Stacked leather heel, Vibram top piece.
Sizing: Available from sizes 6-13 in two different width fittings (see size chart for width and toe shape availability). Stanley toe shape available in the narrow D fitting from size 6-13AU. Stanley toe shape only available in the wider E fitting from size 7-12.5AU. Cambridge toe shape available in the wider E fitting from size 6-13AU. Cambridge toe shape only available in the narrow D fitting from size 6, 7-12AU. Please note that all our footwear is made-to-order.
