Originals
Historically, we used to just offer our Heritage range of footwear. This is where the customer could choose all the options to make their shoes or boots unique to them. This still represents 90% of our core orders for footwear and is all Made-To-Order. To simplify this offering for some customers, we created the Originals range. The Originals work for someone who wants less options to consider when it comes to colour and sole materials and other details. They are made in batches and are something we try to keep stock of (we never used to carry any stock). All the footwear are made in the same way (construction, material etc), just that the Originals are made in batches with limited choice apart from size.
The Originals consist of the following and are our Ready To Wear boots made in batch production. They are exchangeable and are aimed at being readily available, whether you are able to come into our stores or are buying online. They are a limited collection of our most popular styles in a particular configuration (ie: not customisable). Stock levels should be correct on the website.

The Sample Room
The Sample Room is a place for our duplicate fitting stock from our store or where we've made up samples for sale. By offering them for purchase, we hope it gives us the chance to refresh our sample boots using more current leathers and soling materials. This means we will be adding new stock to the sample room semi-regularly.
These boots can be used in the instance where someone loves the style and configuration and it's in their size, so happy days, they get the product immediately. Or, it can be mailed out to test the fit and be exchanged for the boot/size of your choice (our Originals can also be used for this purpose). These products are available in store and online. There is only one pair of each product listed. Prices listed are for the particular Sample Room boot and reflect either the age, condition or replacement cost of the boot.
