These pennant flags have been an ongoing project for Penelope Durston, who designs them with Rebecca Hayes right here in Melbourne. The Ballarat design is based on research into the history of place, the architecture and old maps. These pennants look fabulous framed but can also be simply pinned or velcro dotted to the wall. They are based on traditional vintage souvenir pennants but with the twist of the everyday and the tongue firmly in cheek.

The pennants are made from pure wool felt, transfer printed and finished in Penelope's studio in Fitzroy. They are presented on a backing board, in a protective sleeve. Please note the top trim of the pennants can differ in colour to what's pictured (vary from batch to batch).
