Introducing the Gordon Original Service Boot. This fully lined Derby boot is made from locally tanned Victorian bovine leather in a Saddle Tan hue. This thick yet supple leather makes for a durable and comfortable boot that will mould and age with the wearer. The leather is hand-finished in-house. The sole is Mckay welted for durability and support and the black nitrile rubber outsole is made locally in South Australia.

Style: Derby boot/Service boot

Upper: Australian raised and Tanned Bovine leather upper in Saddle Tan with full leather calf lining. Contrast stitching on the upper.

Sole: McKay Welt (blake rapid) construction. Veg-tan mid-sole, hand waxed natural edge finish, black nitrile rubber outsole (made in South Australia). Stacked leather heel, with a full rubber top piece.

Fitting Guide:

Made on our Cameron boot E fitting last, which fits the same as our Gordon boot last. Sizing typically tends to be half a size down from what you may wear on our Cambridge last (dress shoe). See the Size Guide for more information.

The Cameron last fits more generously than our dress shoes because of the larger toe area. Please note, the E fitting is our standard wide width (ie: not narrow, not extra wide).

Please contact us with your measurements as per the FAQ Size Guide, and let us know what size you otherwise wear in dress boots (RMs), dress shoes, runners and other brands (please double check the size region and whether you're quoting in AU, US or EU so as to avoid confusion).

Fitting Availability

Samples available to try on for sizing at our Ballarat store. Please note that we may have stock Ready To Wear (RTW) of this boot, but in the instance where we don't, it will be made up for you. Lead times for Originals are less than Heritage range, which can be found in our footer below for footwear. If a size is in stock, it will say how many pairs are available below the price. If it needs to be made, it will say "Place Order" instead of "Add To Cart" below the price. Prices are in $AUD. Please note this boot is exchangeable (for store credit or another boot, however it is not refundable) in the instance that the size you chose is incorrect.
