Jack Gusset Boot
A classic dress boot fit for any occasion.
This lined Gusset boot is predominantly made using New Zealand bovine leather. This thick yet subtle leather makes for a durable and comfortable boot that will mould and age with the wearer. When using this leather we are able to construct it without the side seam. We refer to this as the wholecut Jack gusset boot as it is made out of one piece of leather.
Also available in Italian yearling leather from $800 however it will have a side seam in this case as the leather does not mould in the same manner as the bovine. Colours can be limited however. Yearling is used for black or when a dressier finish is desired as it has a smoother grain.
Style: Gusset boot
Upper: Bovine leather upper with goat lining
Sole: 5mm English oak tanned, hand waxed, Blake stitched or blake rapid leather sole. Stacked leather heel, leather/rubber top piece.
Please note that colours pictured will vary from hide to hide. Whisky bovine can come out a little lighter and dyes will take differently to each hide. We try to give as close a representation of each colour as possible.
