The Utility Waist Leather Apron uses thick 1.5mm local bovine leather and was designed to be a robust and staple apron in the workshop. This protective apron is designed for hard use and does not compromise on the mobility of the wearer. There are various panels all stitched with a beautiful contrasting thick thread. Corners of pockets are reinforced with solid brass rivets. The two side pockets allow for phones or small parts to be carried. The smaller tapered pockets allow for sharp tools or knives or stationary to be stored safely.

Using thicker bovine leather, this apron will take wear and time to mould and age with the wearer. Please note, we use analine dyed crust leathers for this piece, so there are plenty of natural feature and grain variation. Stretch marks and imperfections on the leather are part of the beauty of this piece. It's designed to be a utilitarian piece that will patina with wear.

The apron fastens with a 25mm wide belt and solid brass swage buckle. Please select whether you would require the regular or large size (see dimensions further down). Consider the clothing you might wear under the apron when sizing. Any excess belt length can be tucked into the waist band of the apron. For example, if you're normally a size 44" belt size, you would be better off going for the Large belt length as this will give you the flexibility to wear the apron over a jacket in the colder months.

TIMEFRAME Please note we may carry a small amount of stock of these aprons, but they are mostly made-to-order. Please allow a timeframe of 1-6 weeks for completion.

Dimensions of Apron: 71cm across the top x 55cm down. Widest part of apron at curve near base is 86cm. All measurements are approximate.

Length of Regular belt: Holes from 28 inches to 45 inches

Length of Large belt: Holes from 38 inches to 55 inches (can have a join in the belt)
