Gordon Classic Boot

The Story: A boot fit for any occasion

Details:

This is our Gordon Classic Boot. He is just as at home in the bush as in the office or traipsing around on the weekends. This fully lined Derby boot is made using locally tanned Victorian bovine leather. This thick yet supple leather makes for a durable and comfortable boot that will mould and age with the wearer. The Classic collection offers you the choice of sole type, sole edge finish and upper leather colours, so you can personalise them to suit your style.

The Gordon Classic Boot offers a few more choices than our Gordon Original:

  • TOE SHAPE: choose between the Gordon boot last or the Cameron boot last

  • OUTSOLE: Choose between a leather with 1/2 topy outsole for a dressy, classic look, or a full black Starr rubber sole for a more robust wear

  • UPPER COLOUR: Choose between the classic colourways: saddle tan, whisky, teak, cocoa or black

  • SIZING: Available from sizes 7-12

Sole: Leather mid-sole, hand waxed, McKay Welt (Blake Rapid) with leather or rubber sole. Stacked leather heel.

Please note that all our footwear is made-to-order. Lead times can be found in our footer below for leather goods and footwear.

Please note that there is natural variation in colours of leather between hide to hide. The Saddle Tan hue is the only one that comes with a contrast stitch. It will go a rich nuttier tan with wear and time. The Whisky hue tends to be redder and varies the most from batch to batch. Teak is more mottled and more a milk chocolate shade, so lighter than the Cocoa.

Sole Types

Fitting Guide:

Made on our Gordon boot or Cameron boot last. Sizing typically tends to be half a size down from what you may wear on our Cambridge dress last. Unless you're a wider ball measurement in which case you may prefer the same size as in our dress shoe last. See the Size Guide for more information.
