Jack Classic Gusset Boot

The Story: A classic dress boot fit for any occasion.

Details:

Introducing the Jack Classic Gusset Boot. This wholecut Chelsea Gusset boot is made from one piece of locally tanned Victorian bovine leather. This thick yet supple leather makes for a durable and comfortable boot that will mould and age with the wearer. The leather is hand finished in house. The sole is Mckay welted for durability and support. The Classic collection offers you the choice of sole material, sole edge finish colour, more sizing options, toe shape, and a selection of upper leather colours, so you can personalise them to suit your style.

The Jack Classic Boot offers a few more options than our Jack Original Boot:

  • TOE SHAPE: Choose between the Stanley (tapered toe) dress last or the Cambridge (almond toe) dress last

  • OUTSOLE: Choose between a leather with 1/2 topy outsole for a dressy, classic look, or a full black Starr rubber sole for a more robust wear

  • UPPER COLOUR: Choose between five classic colourways all from local Victorian bovine: Black, Cocoa, Teak, Whisky and Saddle Tan

  • SIZING: Available from sizes 6-13 in two different width fittings (see size chart for width and toe shape availability). Stanley toe shape available in the narrow D fitting from size 6-13AU. Stanley toe shape only available in the wider E fitting from size 7-12.5AU. Cambridge toe shape available in the wider E fitting from size 6-13AU. Cambridge toe shape only available in the narrow D fitting from size 6, 7-12AU.

Style: Chelsea Gusset boot

Upper: Bovine leather upper with calf lining

Sole: 5mm Italian oak tanned leather midsole, hand waxed, Blake Rapid (McKay Welt) leather or rubber outsole. Stacked leather heel, rubber top piece.

Last Choose between the Stanley or Cambridge D or E fitting

Please note that colours pictured will vary from hide to hide. We try to give as close a representation of each colour as possible. Cocoa is the darkest brown and is tanned a dark brown hue all the way through the leather. Teak is a mottled milk/dark chocolate hue, so there is more variation to its colour and finish. Whisky is a very dark tan/reddy brown and can offer be redder than the pictures online show. There is also great variation from batch to batch. Saddle tan is our lightest tan hue.
