Details:
Derby Sandal
Upper: Polished brown bovine or yearling leather, English Calf lining
Sole: 5mm Italian oak tanned, raw, Blake stitched leather sole. Stacked leather heel, Vibram top piece.
Upper options: Prices will vary depending on leather chosen and sole. Kangaroo leather has more texture and markings, the skin is strong, but it’s also very fine in thickness. The veg-tan roo also is a dry leather and thus high maintenance in that it needs regular conditioning to avoid it drying out. Yearling has similar body to bovine leather, but has a smoother grain and a more polished finish. It is also more readily dyed. Yearling and bovine are our preferred choices for regular wear. Bovine is a great choice for regular wear.
